Whether you’re planning to use the loan scheme, fund your system privately, or simply want to understand what’s available – we’re here to guide you through every option clearly and honestly.

What does solar actually cost?
The cost of installing solar panels varies depending on the size of your system, your roof type, and whether you choose to include things like battery storage or EV charging.
Here’s a general guide to give you a rough idea:
- Basic solar install: from around £4,500–£6,500
- System with battery storage: from £8,000+
- EV charger installation: quoted separately
These figures are indicative only – every property is different, and the only way to give you an accurate cost is to carry out a proper survey first. That’s exactly what we do. We’ll always provide a clear, fully itemised quote tailored specifically to your home or business, with no pressure, no jargon, and no hidden costs.
What will I save?
Every household is different, so savings vary depending on your property and energy use. This is exactly why we assess each home individually before quoting.
Your savings will depend on:
- How much energy you use (and when)
- Whether you include battery storage
- Whether you export unused energy back to the grid
